Tomato, Basil, Mozzarella Skewers--Yum

I got this idea from a photo I saw on a catering website http://www.meridiths.com/. My version is a little smaller but what a great idea! So yummy and easy to eat. No messy oil dripping everywhere!

This was the cake I made my daughter for her second birthday. I should have taken a photo of the inside: double layer lemonade cake (recipe from better homes and gardens) with a not-so-buttercream icing. Each layer was a different shade of pink. It was delicious and too cute.

Who is loving "Melissa and Joey"?

So it's the third season of "Melissa and Joey" and I'm still hooked. Hey, who doesn't love a sexier "Who's the Boss?" premise?  Melissa Joan Hart and Joe Lawrence are hilarious together and the kids are pretty good actors too. Another plus: Joey Lawrence is usually wearing some form-fitting shirts to make it easier on the eyes.

It's just a bummer that it only runs during the summer. It's one of the only sitcoms that gets me laughing out loud...literally.
